Copy of Roman gold earrings with azure blue glass beads.

In the 1st - 2nd century AD this type of earrings was very popular with Roman women.

The earring was worn with 1-4 glass beads.

Especially in the middle class, brightly colored glass beads served as precious gemstones

to imitate.  (golden brown = amber)

 

Selection: Choose between the gold pearls  small or large  Intermediate pearls. (see photos)

    Hoop earrings: diameter: approx. 2.5 cm

    Clear glass beads: diameter: approx. 1.2 cm (each bead is slightly different because it is hand-turned)

    Hoop earrings:  Brass wire, 24 carat gold plated

    Stained glass beads: hand-turned from Murano glass 

  • Care instructions

    Polish the earring and glass beads with a soft microfiber cloth.

    Do not treat glass beads with impregnated silver cleaning cloths.

    If necessary, clean with lukewarm soapy water.
